The Review: Kim Liggett’s The Last Harvest is a young adult horror novel that kept me in suspense from beginning to The lost harvest book. There are some terrifying and creepy events that happen within the book but it wasn’t until the end that I was truly creeped out/5.

The Harvest starts right off where the Last Orphans ended which I loved because after reading the first book, I needed an answer to the major cliffhanger ending that had me in a book hangover for days/5(79).

Kim Liggett draws on her childhood during the Satanic Panic for a chilling tale of magic in The Last Harvest, winner of the Bram Stoker Award. "I plead the blood." Those were the last words seventeen-year-old golden boy quarterback Clay Tate heard rattling from his dad's throat when he discovered him dying on the barn floor of the Neely cattle ranch, clutching a crucifix to his : Tom Doherty Associates.

I usually prefer a book with more of a tragedy, this one doesn’t quite fit that description, but is a beautifully drawn out love story.

I will definitely read more from this author. Posting the link to Dads review of the book, it is beautifully written: Read Craig's 5-star review of The Harvester by Gene Stratton-Porter I /5.

John David Krygelski's suspenseful debut novel - The Harvest - is a stunning tour de force.
